The History of First Bank’s Good Deeds Week

The first Good Deeds Week kicked off in the spring of 2020 when First Bank gave each of its employees $20 to go out and do good in their communities. Hundreds of stories came back about days made, surprises with pure delight, and smiles spread throughout towns and cities all over the Carolinas.

Knowing we had a good thing going, First Bank continues this tradition each year to help make the world a better place, one good deed at a time.

At First Bank we believe in supporting our community and making it a great place to live.

And that starts with people —helping our neighbors, showing compassion, and going out of our way to make a difference.
