ZOE’s First Bank experience.
The chief operating officer, Randy Wiersma, shared ZOE’s unique challenges and how First Bank helps the organization overcome them.
What are the major challenges ZOE faces?
As a multi-national 501c3, we receive donations from around the globe and have to be able to transfer significant funds internationally. This can be a huge issue if we don’t have a financial partner that is reliable, understands our specific needs and is committed to our work. First Bank has done an excellent job filling that role.
What brought you to First Bank?
Recently we had the opportunity to establish ourselves independently, so we investigated our banking options. After reaching out to several banks, First Bank had the most compelling proposal and we’re thrilled to be working with the team.
How has First Bank helped ZOE overcome challenges?
When we were under a previous account, we couldn’t easily accept donations. Now that we are working with First Bank and have our own accounts, our donors can easily send us funds that support our programs and empower orphans.
