John Chung, a 24‑year veteran of commercial and governmental lending, is on the First Bank SBA Sales team in El Segundo, California, and leads an outside team of top producers who help small businesses nationwide finance their growing business needs.

A native of DeKalb, Illinois, and long‑time resident of Orange County, California, John was most recently the SVP and Sales Leader at a community bank. He has led numerous teams throughout his commercial banking and governmental lending career. When not working, John supports the Second Harvest Food Bank and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Los Angeles; serves as an Advisory Board member for the University of California, Irvine; and enjoys basketball, kickboxing, golf, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and family dog.
